Elainie Honjas has limited her law practice to family law and tax aspects concerning family law cases, and estate planning cases.

She furthered her studies in law in 1995 at the Golden Gate University, LL.M (taxation) and was admitted in 1996 to the U.S. Tax Court. In 1985 she graduated with her Juris Doctor degree from the Law School at New College of California. Prior to her law career, she had studied clinical psychology for more than two years in pursuit of a Ph.D. Ms. Honjas graduated in 1969 from the University of Athens with a B.A. in political science.

Since 1991 to the present, she has been a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association where she is still a member of the Board of Trustees, serving from 2001-2006. She is also a member of the Family Law Executive Committee, the Fee Arbitration Executive Committee, and in 2005 was Presiding Arbitrator for that committee. She has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1989.

Having mastered multi-lingual skills, Ms. Honjas is fluent in Greek and also speaks French.
